(Reiko Aylesworth), is Ray’s girlfriend ofseven years, increasingly frustrated by his unwillingness to get areal job that pays the bills. She encourages him to take a job as acopywriter, which he dismisses as purgatorial. She feels Ray is beingan idealist by not working on something more commercial, angered by hisinability to let go of his pet project Great Shame which has garnered nothing butrejection from everyone who’s read it.
